Equalizer
The purpose of Equalizer is to let you determine the relative volumes of different pitch notes or even to filter out some pith ranges. See Setting Equalizer for details
To bring up the Equalizer window, use "Options->Show Equalizer" menu item or the Equalizer button on the toolbar. You can also use the diminished picture of the Equalizer in the right-bottom corner of 7Canaries window. Click on it to bring up the Equalizer .

In the heading you can see pitch and frequency of a selected key, and its relative volume.
Note: 7Canaries octave number corresponds to MIDI octave plus 3.

On Top checkbox specifies whether you want the Equalizer to be on top of all other 7Canaries windows.

The buttons All to Half, All to Max, and All to zero put all bars of the Equalizer to the corresponding position. Note: Because only relative volumes are set, there is no difference between "All to Max" and "All to Half" positions. Use them as an intermediate step of equalizer adjustment.

By clicking the area above the keyboard, you set the corresponding note volume to a certain value. You may also double-click any note on the keyboard to set it to minimum or maximum.

To play back a particular note, click a corresponding key on the keyboard, while holding Shift.
