VisiNote Editor(tm) Window
VisiNote Editor is a special MIDI files editor, included in the 7Canaries Professional version. It allows you to quickly and effectively correct the results of the automatic recognition.

The Editor is designed similarly to a Piano Roll, i.e. the time axis is located horizontally, and different positions on the vertical line correspond to different pitches. The main window combines the spectrogram of the initial musical piece and the recognized notes. This way, VisiNote Editor makes it possible to visually compare the spectrogram peaks (reflected by color) and the notes. Top ruler shows time marks (in seconds), and the bottom line represents MIDI parameters of a current or selected note. VisiNote Editor also allows editing of a single MIDI file without the spectrogram ("MIDI only").

VisiNote Editor operates in three main modes - editing, deleting and playing. With the Edit Tool you move the notes, set their properties and so on. To move the whole note, drag the note center, to move the note end - drag the end. There are several options in the Edit Mode: if Create Notes is checked, you can create new notes by clicking in the empty areas of the main pane. Note attributes are defined by the Default Note Attributes dialog. If Glue Notes is checked, then when you intersect several notes, they glue together. The volume of the resulting note is the maximum from two, and other parameters are taken from the dragged note. With the Delete Tool you wipe all notes that you touch with mouse button pressed. By entering the Play Mode you can play either visible notes, visible notes slowly, all composition or visible notes together with original file. See also Menu Reference and Keyboard Reference.

To be able to continue editing later, save all data (except original waveform) to a single file in VisiNote Editor format.
