Setting Options
Here are some basic guidelines and explanations related to General Options setup.
General Options Dialog is called by pressing General Options button.

In/Out Device Setup

MIDI Output devices are used for playback of MIDI messages (notes and some special commands). Both built-in synthesizers and external MIDI synthesizers are MIDI Out devices. To ensure correct playback of MIDI by a built-n synthesizer, you need to choose it as a MIDI Out Device in TS-MIDI Editor and set its volume in Windows Mixer. To use an external MIDI synthesizer, choose MIDI Out Port (it is usually called "MIDI UART" or similarly) and make sure that the synthesizer is properly connected to the "MIDI Out" port of the sound card.

Refer to the General Options Dialog for setting other options.
