Equalizer is located under Spectrum window.
By default all sliders are set to neutral position. This means that no
amplitude change for all frequencies will take place. By moving Equalizer
slider you change multiplier applied to corresponding sensor output value. The
most common way to use Equalizer is to increase middle frequencies and
reduce basses and trebles. This allows to filter out waste short notes that
usually appear at high frequencies and unnecessary bass notes. You can see
several typical Equalizer settings at the following pictures.
1. The following picture shows Equalizer with removed treble and bass
and with amplified middle frequencies. This setting is most typical.
2. The following picture shows Equalizer settings with decreased
amplitude at particular lag. This is useful when a particular voice in melody
(located in this frequency range) is anxiously louder than all others.
Decreasing it's amplitude helps to detect all voices.
Clicking right mouse button on Equalizer will bring floating menu with
four items. Save and Load allow saving and loading Equalizer
settings into Equalizer File (.equ extension). Smooth function
allows to avoid sharp angles in equalizer picture. Reset sets all
sliders to neutral position.
